- Complete your autoethnography to share at our January 20th, 2024 PINE Workshop (there is an alternative sign-up on Monday, January 22, for those who prefer to share their work one on one). Please remember, each participant will have 7-10 minutes to share due only to time constraints. We know it’s not a lot of time, your stories are important to us and we hope this fits everyone needs. Your autoethnography is meant to be shared live, but you are welcome to record your presentation too. After your presentation please upload your project into this Google Folder, if you’ve made an art project please upload images and a narrative. If you have any questions, reach out.
Prepare to Share
- Fill out this list to prepare for introductions. Use a sticky note or make a copy of the doc, this is for your reflection we don’t need the information for the PINE Project. What do you notice about your list?
- This month PINE Project Blog Posts are due by January 24, 2024. Blog posts are expected to be approximately 200-500 words in length. Please be reflective, but don’t feel the need to overthink or write a “paper.” The blog posts are meant to capture your thoughts about the workshop content and your processes as they relate to the PINE Project.
- Reflecting on our discussions from the January 4, 2024, PINE Workshop, and ways to use the picture books we read this month; how can this month’s SEL Connection about responsible decision making be integrated into classroom settings?
- A written plan of your classroom video documentation is due on February 1, 2024. The description of that assignment is linked here, Video Documentation 3. I received some valuable feedback from a couple of our participants on Monday afternoon. Thank you. We will re-post the syllabus soon in a document like this one with links to assignments and articles.
